Things that went well were the transitions between songs, as they were a lot more smoother than the previous gig. Another thing that went well was the solo in Money, which was loud enough for the guitarist and the audience, as the performance before, the volume was low, so it didn’t cut through the mix pretty well.

Things that didn’t go so well were the lack of discipline backstage with the performers, making too much noise whilst the performance was on. Another problem, although thankfully we fought through it, during Heresy, was the low, bassy, feedback during that section. During Heresy, the keyboards I was using had the volume down to zero, which annoyed me, as I did explain before, not to mess with the volume of the keyboard. During Personal Jesus, the temporary keyboardist wasn’t present, however, thankfully it didn’t hamper the performance.

Things to improve on were having more discipline backstage and to make sure that everyone knew their roles within the songs, so we can avoid any noticeable mistakes during the gig.

Show Evaluation 1

Things that went well was both Personal Jesus and Stan were a success, since they were both strong songs. Another thing that worked well was me during the beginning of Heresy, since I came in too early, but it worked really well, as well as Jacob covering for the clean part, when the guitarist couldn’t find their lead.

Things that didn’t went well was some songs dragged on for too long, some of the transitions were sloppy, some technical difficulties during the gig, such as audio coming in too early or late and visuals not lining up with the music. The dynamics of the drumming were too thrashy during Gluttony.

Things to improve on are to power on through the errors and make it part of the show, as well as trim some songs so that they aren’t too long and the gig doesn’t run too long.

Heartless Mashup

Things that went well were the transitions being a lot more smoother and the show being more reasonably shorter, since our first performance was too long, and the visuals were locked in with the music. Some of the singers were also given praise for their showmanship to the audience and their delivery and personality were strong throughout the performance.

Things that didn’t go so well were an incident before the show started, due to line up changes for one of the songs, and that the second half, although was good, some audience members found the songs to be to similar to one another, and could be more varied. Another problem was people trying to hard to impress the audience.

Things to improve on were for the singers to get involved with the audience a lot more, and to just enjoy the performance, rather than try to be the center of attention.
